Color Textbook of Histology

This text presents a concise coverage of the essential principles of histology, particularly suitable for the shorter medical school courses in histology. Gartner and Hiatt also author the bestselling Color Atlas of Histology published by LWW. This is a widely used atlas and many of the instructors who recommend this also recommend our text.

It is a very readable book, heavily illustrated with high quality, three-dimensional full colour conceptual illustrations, as well as many full colour photomicrographs and high quality black and white electron micrographs. Provides clinical considerations in each chapter when appropriate. Features a comprehensive cross-referenced index for easy location of needed information. Many new figures and many old figures revised for better clarity. More tables have been added to summarise important histological features and principles. The design now incorporates more colour, including coloured headings and tables.
