An older style historical that uses unresolved sexual tension rather than the newer style with insta-lust.
Our heroine Frankie/Frannie receives a telegram from her dad that he's sold his half share of their hotel to our hero Sean. Then Frankie and Sean are caught kissing in the church's confessional by the priest and have to marry to preserve Frannie's reputation. But Sean doesn't want to consummate their marriage because he's planning to leave with his family when they turn up....and his family just happens to be a traveling circus!
Quite a fun read.

Very old fashioned story telling but pacing was to slow for my taste.
