Young inventors may enjoy the seven inventions in this book so much that they'll try their hands at coming up with their own inventions or designing machines that move in some way. They can follow the step-by-step directions for how to create a climbing spider, a gas-powered boat, a confetti cannon, an electric car, a catapult, water shoes, and a soap boat. While some are easier to complete than others and some need adult supervision, all of them require youngsters to follow directions and think creatively. Who knows what the next invention might be? Photographs show the inventions in action too.
