We may all look different, but we can find things to do together and be friends! Everyone is different in their own way, but that doesn't mean we can't be friends and play together.

I like this book but I think it could have done a better job explaining diversity and inspiring community. I do enjoy the diverse pictures and cute kids.

This book is missing some aspects that I think should be addressed. This book could best be used with a teacher or social worker to further elaborate pictures and differences in the book. It would also be good to do an activity with the class. Identify some differences, but also identify some similarities.

As much alike as we all are, we are also different in many ways, and this photo essay identifies some of those ways. For instance, we have different skin colors, shapes, sizes, hair type and color, clothing, and some of us wear glasses, have braces. The book actually celebrates being different.
