This book which I found in Cornwall once, on holiday with my children at least 20 years ago inspired me to go and live in Cornwall. The illustrations are fabulous also. Slowly I have been discovering some of the sites she mentions and more ...

An extremely expensive volume, for one so slim, but it does contain a fascinating perspective on the archaeology of Cornwall and speculation about what the functions and uses of pre-Christian sites may have been.
