The Juggle Puzzle
This story is based on a classic puzzle with a clever solution. In this fun-filled version, a circus juggler must solve a puzzle to cross a river with a tiger, a goat, and a pot of stew. The problem is how to get them across the river without the tiger eating the goat or the goat eating the stew. This title features a delightful easy-to-read story at Guided Reading Level F. Plus, each book features a sight word game focusing on selected sight words used in the story, as well as phonics games that help support the phonics skills that are emphasized in the story.

June 17, 2022this was gotten as a phonics reader for a child. It is a pretty basic read but also includes the fun brain-twister puzzle heard elsewhere --although often with different elements. The puzzle is to figure out the only method to row a tiger, a goat, and some stew across a lake without one eating another when left alone. Fun to try and figure the puzzle out while reading it.

The juggler overslept and had to catch up with the traveling show. He had to cross a stream that could only hold him and one item. So most of the book is explaining the steps required to prevent either the goat eating the stew or the tiger eating the goat.
