Samantha Summers is ready to build her future. After finishing her Architecture degree, she’s ready to put it to use. She and her best friend, Maddie Cooper, have procured a building that is ready for Sam’s magical architect’s touch. Maddie’s dream is to own a bookstore, and Sam is ready to be the one to make it happen. When the hunt for a General Contractor turns up little to no results, Sam and Maddie are forced to make a choice that Sam soon comes to regret.

After several failed relationships and horrible heart breaks, she’s learned that no man can be trusted, and has hardened her heart and built a tower to save herself from the perils of heartbreak. Besides, when you’re making your best friend’s dreams come true, who really has time for love? Sam’s attitude, which has a habit of being just as fiery as her hair, poses quite the challenge to her project partner. Can Oliver Knight become a knight in shining armor and save Sam from her self-built tower?

I really love the Summers in Seaside Series, and there hasn't been one book that I didn't enjoy a great deal, and One Summer Knight is no exception. Sam is our spitfire heroine who has been burned by love in the past so she has some pretty sturdy walls around her heart. She's finished her Architecture degree, and she's going to use it to help her best friend reach her dream of owning a bookstore. It gets a tad complicated quickly when they can't find the perfect General Contractor, or do they?! See, there's Oliver Knight, the town's favorite contractor who rubs Sam the wrong way with all his charming ways. Of course her impression of him is a direct result of her trust issues but seriously, Oliver is the perfect man for Sam, however, it's definitely not going to be easy to get her to see it that way. I really did love Oliver, and the interactions between these two had sparks flying so yeah, I was cheering them on all the way through. One Summer Knight is another entertaining addition to this series that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Samantha Summers is smart and beautiful she is also determined to open the most amazing book store with her best friend. They have a vision and dreams now all they need is someone to come in a build it for them. They have gone through some lemons of construction companies, but one man keeps coming up. For Samantha though she wants nothing to do with them. Because as they say first impressions do matter. Oliver knows he didn't make a good impression the first time he met Samantha but he's determined to show her what he is really like. As they work together he is trying to break down her walls. But can he when all she wants is to get the job done and then move on?

This book is part of the Summers in Seaside Collection, with crossover people and places. It can be read as a standalone.
This is a beautiful read, and I enjoyed how the MC"s were built up for us to fall in love with.

I loved this short romance read. The characters were likeable and I loved the plot of it as well. If you looking for a quick satisfying read.
