This is a good primer on likely bioterrorism mechanisms, the state of U.S. preparedness & what the average person should know in the event of a scare. It suffers - albeit in a minor way - from being a few years old (written right after 9/11 & the anthrax scares), but still very informative, in clear, layman's terms. Worth a read!
