I own all bar possibly two of Preston Baileys titles. This book is filled with the most amazing, beautiful floral designs and elegant place settings in glorious colour. However my big issue with this book, Preston gives nothing away; No instructions, no how to do and no floral design terminology just pictures and the thoughts from the male diva himself. Here is my low-brow review of a book that documents high class weddings and events...

First of all, the title should be Perspirations as the reader will most likely experience an elevated heart rate and high blood pressure while calculating the amount of time, physical exertion, flowers, and money it would take to pull off these events.

Over the top creations, but beautiful beyond words. I can't imagine how breath-taking actually being in the midst of one of his creations would be. Not realistic for home entertaining (obviously!) but with some creativity, the ideas can be adapted to home use.
