Robert C. Eccles treats the reader with sixty-seven tantalising tales of twisted flash fiction that will leave you terrified yet titillated. Each uniquely bizarre tale harbours a pinch of the macabre, leaving you disturbed but craving for more. A treat for horror flash lovers and for those who edge towards dark, offbeat humour."Robert C. Eccles delivers fun, macabre entertainment in short, power-packed doses. Depending on your appetite you can sample his dark tales as hors devours or gobble up the entire platter. Either way, it’s a taste sensation like no other.”-Trevor O. Munson, co-creator and executive producer of the CBS vampire TV series Moonlight and author of “Angel of Vengeance”, the novel that inspired the series.“Robert C. Eccles was one of the few writers I could rely on to always deliver the goods when I ran Necrotic Tissue. With this collection he proves he is a master of the short form, from micro to flash to short stories. Eccles delivers an excellent collection for fans of dark fiction.”-R. Scott McCoy, owner of Stygian Publications and publisher of Necrotic Tissue Magazine.“Robert C. Eccles’ fiction reminds me of the guy that drives the ice cream truck around at night. He’s big, he’s mean, he’s terrifying—but no matter how much he scares us, we all keep coming back for more."-William Pauley III, author of “The Doom Magnetic Trilogy” and “The Brothers Crunk”.“Whether he’s bringing everyday dangers to light or inventing brand new monsters, Robert C. Eccles can scare you with only a few quick words. Horror needs more of his brand of dark imagination.”-Nathan Rosen, MicroHorror.com.“Robert C. Eccles is a master of terse, hard hitting stories that make you want to read more. You’ll get taken in by his straight forward prose, and surprised by an unexpected ending.”-Lori Titus, Managing Editor, Flashes in the Dark.“Robert C. Eccles specializes in short, potent doses of memorable writing. Though Eccles obviously enjoys horror, he does not confine himself within one genre. I found myself by turns chuckling at his use of humor, thrilling as tension built, and contemplating certain disturbing passages and images long after I’d finished reading. Think you’re too busy to read for pleasure? Think again. Eccles has prepared a frightful feast you can devour in huge portions or sample lightly from again and again.”-Adrian Ludens, author of “The Legend of Ornias Goodnight” and “Curioddities”.

Tiny Terrors succeeds on many fronts. When stories are this short, one must be witty and gripping to keep the reader engaged. Stories must be scary, funny, ironic, and at times, emotional. This collection is all of the above.

Readers will find themselves most the way through the book before realizing they're devouring yet another story. Much like popcorn, it's impossible to stop after only one handful.

Bravo to Mr. Eccles. Let's hope there are many more tiny terrors crawling about in his brain. A second collection would do all horror fans some good.
