this book is surprisingly likable. is it truly outlandish story, the rhyming is fine, there are quite a few words on the page so definitely easier to read for older kids, the illustrations are simple but still interesting. there's just something about it that appeals to toddlers and isn't too bad for the parents either
Haven't read this in years! Definitely one of my favorite kids books. Bicycle Bears deliveries get bigger and bigger. And even if there's no real moral or lesson learned, it's still absolutely perfect for a fun kids read.
As a pro-bicycling commuter this makes me happy to see a kids book showcasing bicycles as transportation.
Overall: Graphics are nicely done but nothing real special just a typical kids book. There's about four lines per page. The book has some dialogue which will help teach oral reading instruction. There are many quotes with exclamation points so there are plenty of chances for reading with voice inflections. The book has a fun rhythm and the plot fosters problem solving.
