Every kitchen needs a book like this. No pictures, no frills, it is packed full of clear concise recipes, nicely organized and well indexed. Beefburgers, white sauce, quiche, lemon drizzle cake, whatever you fancy, it is probably in here and it is quick and easy to look up. Great if you feel stuck in a rut with your meals – lots of reliable basic recipes for you to add a twist and make your own.
