Love Dad is literally a book full of notes. The book doesn't take long to read, but is well worth your time. Patrick Connolly left for work most mornings before his two boys were awake. While eating breakfast with his wife he would write them a note almost every morning. The notes were filled with challenges, whether it be school related or just to better them as people. Patrick doodled characters for almost every note also. Overall the book is very cute and touching. I would recommend this dad ...more

Cute book. I love the illustrations/notes that the Dad (author) left for his 2 boys. Who as a child wouldn't have wanted their parent to leave such wonderful, inspiring and always on the funny side notes for them in the morning...?

Patrick Connolly’s routine every morning before going to work, while eating Breakfast with his wife would write or draw a letter to his two sons. Giving advice or challenging them. Letting them know that they are loved. This was a very cute book.
