Friends to the End for Kids: The True Value of Friendship

Rate this book
Bradley Trevor Greive's Blue Day Book hit such a nerve with adults that readers demanded a children's version. Now kids can enjoy Friends to the End for Kids , based on the original Friends to the End .

Watching children befriend one another carries lessons for all of us. They quickly step outside of themselves, give one another a chance, invest everything in the moment, and trade hugs at the earliest possible opportunity. Such is the stuff of true friendship. Such is the stuff of Friends to the End for Kids .

Bradley Trevor Greive proves time and again that he knows how to connect with even the youngest of readers. His Friends to the End , aimed at a grown-up audience, shows adults how to appreciate the people closest to them in everyday life. Friends to the End for Kids does the same for its younger audience in prose and pictures that capture their imaginations and tickle their funny bones.

Greive's award-winning combination of captivating animal photography and direct, eloquent words reinforce what kids already know in their hearts, that friendship is about love, loyalty, and-most of all-fun. This is a young adaptation of Greive's other works and it's just lovely. This is one to read with kids over and over and over as they learn the tricky art of human relationships and the wonderful thing that is friendship.

Would make a lovely birthday present for primary school "best friends".

Friends to the End is about people coming together and showing they care and appreciate one another. This book is a great way for children to learn about long lasting friendships and caring about other people. It also talks about what it means to be a true friend, it means to love, be loyal and have fun with your friends and they will last. Also the illustrations are real life photographs of animals showing they love each other which is a great way to keep children interested. Also that is a good way to show that everyone and everything needs a friend and to know that its important and cared about and that's why its important that children and everyone develop those friendship.

I really enjoyed this book (almost as much as The Blue Day Book for kids). I first read it when my son was much younger, and we giggled through it together. This time, I enjoyed it on my own. It is a quick read which makes lighthearted points about friendship. The adorable animal pictures really sell the tale, but they also fun even if you ignore the words. I especially loved the one of the alligator with the butterfly on his nose. The author did a good job of choosing photographs that go well with the phrases on each page. I feel like it has appeal for children, teens and adults.
