This is a great level two reader for children as the words and sentences in it are very simple for this reading level to understand. For as simple as the story is, I thought it was very informative of most everything you should know about frogs. There were descriptions of all kinds of frogs from what they look like to what they eat and do. The illustrations on each page is also very detailed to what the different types of frogs look like and the places that they live. They keep the young readers engaged in the pictures of the frogs as they get to read all about them. Along with the drawings, the text and is fun to say since most of it seems to rhyme together and some parts even have words that represent sound effects. I think that this is a great book for young children, whether they are reading it themselves or listening and falling along as someone else reads to them.
This was a book about different kinds of frogs. It talked about the different eye colors, body colors, and types of frogs. It also talked about the life cycle of frogs and if they have a disguise to blend into their surroundings. I thought that this book would make a great read-aloud no matter what age because it just gives information about a frog so if students like frogs no matter what age they will enjoy reading this book. Another cool feature is that on the last page, it has different kinds of frogs for students to discover as well which is awesome as well.
