As with Forgotten Heart, Curse of a Dragon's Claim was provided to me for free in exchange for a review.

Curse of a Dragon's Claim has intrigue, hot sex, dragon shifters, and one very angry meddling goddess. Ciara Lake's writing is easy to read and get lost in and flows very differently from Elise Whyles, but fits the series just as well. The crossover characters were great here as well and never felt like a different character in the authors hands, the transition was smooth between the two

Clayne MacDagon has been told that a woman possessing both dragon and vampire blood will be his mate which is ironic considering how much he dislikes vampires but together they will have to face the shadows of evil and survive the coming war in this intriguing paranormal romance. Despite the fast mating, the first half of the story seemed to drag a little but the second half made up for it and I also found that the dialogue seemed a little stilted as well but both of which may have something to ...more

This is the second book in a six book series about fantasy/supernatural/paranormal critters. This book focuses more on dragons and vampires. However, the dragons are people not always the flying fire breathing lizards.

There is that vixen goddess who seems to get around, kings and women warriors (yes queen!) and two people fighting love because they're too stubborn to just let stuff happen but it makes for a good read when they fight those feelings.

I've never been much of a fantasy book reader

This is actually a good book. I love how this was written and how each of the characters develop on what they were at the and of the book.

More to follow.
