Ok this one made my mind explode. Gerard is a master at his craft. I will have to revisit this book. I feel like I just scratched the surface of what I can get from this.

-The highest up in the chain is not always the one making the decision
-Refer to a higher authority to keep yourself from committing to terms
-Be sure you understand the needs of the person your negotiating with

I had never seen negotiation in such a light. It's been an interesting process. There's a lot to take away here, but I think all the things mentioned is best learnt when implemented. It's more like take notes, contemplate, experiment and then analyze, round it goes. As said experience is the key but I believe with this, a conscious experience there exists grater possibility.
