In this prequel to The William Problem , Liza's stuck with Mrs. Rumford--the most strict teacher in school. Liza wonders how she'll survive the year, until she meets the new girl, Bridget. Can the two of them tough it out together?
I thought that was a wonderful and funny book because in the book there is 2 best friends and something happened. I also like when they talked about the teacher it was a old woman and everyone thought she was REALLY mean that is my favorite part of the book. I also remember when this girl walked inside a really nice teacher's classroom she did not have a desk for her to sit at so she had to sit at the back table everyone stared at her she was not feeling good because people kept staring at her. Then she figured out she had to switch classrooms with the old mean woman!!!!!!!!!!
I liked the book but it was not one of my favorites. I think the book should have been much longer and have more things going on and have more surprises. I liked all of the characters. At first, I thought Liza was not a good third grader and she was a little bit mean to her teacher and wouldn't give people a chance to get to know them. At the end of the book Liza showed people that it is ok to not always get what you want. I am in third grade and I love it.
I loved that it had a story featuring a 3rd grade girl who thinks she is getting the teacher she wants but at the last minute gets switched to the other teacher which people say she is the WORST teacher in the whole entire school ( including her 6th grade brother ) and she ends up making a new friend ☺️
