Start your review of Nations of Emigrants: Shifting Boundaries of Citizenship in El Salvador and the United States

Read for Yale Divinity School Border Crossing Course to El Salvador. Read first half of the book in Fall 2018 and the second half in Spring 2019. It is important to note that this book was published in 2007 and thus a lot of the "recent history" information is out of date. Considering the current political climate, the 2008 economic recession, and the voting privileges extended to Salvadorans living outside El Salvador, there could be many significant updates made.
