This is my textbook. I use it to teach beginning and mixed-level yoga classes for people of both sexes, all ages, and all levels of flexibility. I also use the worksheets in the back to keep my own practice fresh.

This is a great book for beginners. It's not only about yoga poses but also about how to live a true yogi lifestyle. I got a lot out of it and will be incorporating a lot of the health advice I the book to my practice.

I both liked and didn't like this book. The advice was sound and as a long time practitioner of yoga there is a lot of validity to that, but it was scarce in actual follow through.
