Lots of good tips and reminders to keep your work clean and accurate. The section on proportions was something that is overlooked in most woodworking books.

Great read for new woodworkers
I am new to woodworking and this book really got me up and going with respect to layout measurements and techniques of making the right cut the first time. I am happy to have the book I read the kindle version of the book

If you want to design and build your own projects the first couple chapters are worth the price alone. I find myself referring back to this book time and time again. It has become a go to book in my woodworking library.

Not for a novice
Not for a novice getting in to w woodworking as a hobby. Perhaps a ps it should be named math...a history or math 101.
