Erin Hunter is inspired by a love of cats and a fascination with the ferocity of the natural world. As well as having a great respect for nature in all its forms, Erin enjoys creating rich mythical explanations for animal behavior, shaped by her interest in astronomy and standing stones.
3.8 - Books three and four of The Power of Three series are when things start to really pick up story wise. Hollypaw, Jaypaw, and Lionpaw learn about their prophecy but they don't know how they fit into it yet. We also get to meet the Tribe cats and go to their camp in the mountains with the three apprentices. However, things don't go as planned because of the warrior versus tribal way. Eclipse wasn't necessarily as memorable for me as the first three novels were but I did really enjoy reading Jaypaw help Cinderpaw with her leg in the water. So cute!
