It's difficult to learn psychotherapy techniques from a book, especially ones so steeped in bodily processes and states of being, but Susan Aposhyan does an amazing job of laying out the theory and philosophy of body-oriented therapy, and offering clarifying examples and case studies. This book is not meant to replace learning from a teacher or supervisor, but it is an excellent supplement.
