It was fun to read this manual as last time I read it some 30 years ago. Many things were still very familiar and nostalgic. Content is pretty good for a new user and there are pretty much everything one nees to start doing basic programming. I will be returning to many of the things I read when I get C64 home and can write the classical ”Balloon sprite moving across the screen” program among others.

The computer manual I wish I had when I was kid for the computer I wish I had when I was a kid. Actually, not true - I’ve been scouring eBay for a good deal, cause this is the computer I need in my life, right now. This guide is a fantastic, friendly tour of your very own personal computer - and it’s everything that’s missing from our gadgets and phones today.
