Straight forward and a light reading but doesn't lack imaginative substance as well.

Old-fashioned type novel. By which I mean it's nice idea then it ends before anything really happens. Only 100 pages, takes 50 pages of reading before you finish reading extremely detailed descriptions of airplanes. Yawn!

(Ahhhh... I see, I reserved this book in place of another with the same name... oops!)

So good.

This is a very short mystical kind of book as all of Richard Bach’s books are. This one doesn’t have any deep meaning. We have all had the experience where we worked on a problem and worked but couldn’t figure it out. Then we go to bed and may be awaken during the night or the next morning and we have solution. Well, Bach writes about this in his book and persuades us that we are being prompted by characters in a parallel life force who step in to reveal to us the solution. That is their whole j ...more

Sconsigliato, a meno ch

I like reading Richard Bach, he has this unique etherial touch in his writing which can take the reader to a different world by opening up a far more sublime and perhaps spiritual side of us. This one though is not in the same league as Jonathan Livingston Seagull or Illusions but still a good read.

The only Bach book that disappointed me was the Messiah's Handbook but that was perhaps because of the high expectations I formed after reading Illusions.

A good read - quick and easy and will make yo

A 1999 story of a man (author), pilot of a plane, who realizes that inspiration for the technical improvements to his plane actually come from an unexpected source - a lady whom he sees in his mind each time he comes up with an idea. He explores the concept of this designer who 'sends' him the technical improvements just when he needs them. Nice and original main idea, rest of the story is quite static.

I likely read Richard Bach's novel, "Out of My Mind: The Discovery of Saunders-Vixen" many years ago. I did not remember the story so read it again.

"Out of Mind" is a short read introducing readers to concept of traveling to parallel universes. Interesting, but not one of my favorite Bach novels.
Decisiones, son nuestra potestad. Decisiones crean destinos, crean presentes y presentes paralelos.

If you can get your mind around the possibility of parallel universes branching from small decisions through big ones, and the possibility of communications among those universes, you'll like it.

If you limit your mind to what science can current

Good short read on aviation and they developed alike and differently in another dimension. Combines Bach's technical and spiritual aspects, like most of his works. Short and worthy read.

This book was light and imaginative, almost whimsical. It was very short (100 smaller that A4 pages), making reading easy. It was a very light read (both literally and emotionally), and its lightness may mean I remember little of this book tomorrow.

I don't know why i picked this up (was actually a gift to me, perhaps that's why) and it was by sheer power of my will that I was able to drag myself through this pseudo-spiritual self-help hotch-potch. No plotline, vacuous 'wisdoms' and the sort, surely drove me out of my mind.

Bach has written another imaginative book with Out of My Mind. Bach lovers and anyone who reminiscences of days flying biplanes with the wind in your hair will enjoy reading this story. Love when Bach says, "Everything in the physical world is imagination dressed to look solid."

I was unimpressed by this novella that seems more like an idea for a story rather than a complete story in and of itself. For more:

Fun, easy to read. I was taken for a ride, but did not touch me the way other Bach books have. Good for the beach or a long plane/car ride.

I like this book. I had an experience similar to the first one he describes here about receiving inspiration so I really related to what he was saying. Very enjoyable and quick read.
