A simple leveled reader in rhyme that looks at all kinds of different boats.

This is very easy to read. Most of the words are just one syllable. The rhyme is done very well which makes the book catchy and lively. I like the vast array of boats included. Hand this to kids who are fascinated by modes of transportation and are just starting to read.

A cute, simple rhyme featuring different kinds of boats in different kinds of water. Good for teaching adjectives or opposites, and of course, lots of fun for little boat enthusiasts!

I read this with my two-year-old tonight and he absolutely adored all the different boats.

This beginning reader is chock full of boats. It worked great in our pre-school age library story time. We had the children repeat the phrases where a word was repeated three times and they enjoyed this. For instance, the first page's text is "Big boat. Little boat. Float, float, float." They repeated "float, float, float" with us. (I say "us" as there are two performers switching off pages or phrases).

A wonderful book for children. My son looked at the illustrations with interest and read. This is one of his favorite books.
