This is a long book for small kids. I have read a different version this one has old looking pictures. Gulliver made friends with the people and helped them in the war. This book shows that just because someone is bigger and different does not mean they are bad

I haven't read the original to compare it to, but it was a great change of pace for our literature to read a little satire about explorers and their adventures.
