Follow The River

To survive a winter in the open in the rugged mountains of British Columbia requires knowledge and creativity, but most importantly, it requires determination and a will to live. The novel Follow The River is a account taken from a diary, discovered by chance, which documents such effort.

The concept of the story is interesting enough, but there were too many inaccuracies and editing errors for me to really enjoy the book.

This is a survival guide thinly disguised as a novel. The writing is a bit clumsy and many questions are left unanswered, but I couldn't put it down! It is the book for this month's discussion in my book club.
