Pour Decisions
I've been preparing for this day for years. The biggest wine competition of my career. And I plan to win.
My wine? Sublime. My presentation? On point. My outfit? Hand-picked by my fabulous BFF with fantastic fashion sense.
Nothing has been left to chance-I'm ready to crush my competition. No pun intended.
The thing is, that judge over there? I'm pretty sure he's the stranger whose bed I crawled out of this morning.

About the author
Denise Wells
44 books817 followersDenise has been reading since before she could talk. And to this day, escaping into a book is her go-to activity before anything else.
She likes to write about sassy women and semi-flawed alpha-esque men (hard on the outside and just a little soft on the inside.) Denise’s female characters always have strong friendships, potty mouths, and like to drink—a lot.
Denise is loyal to a fault, a bit too sarcastic, blindingly optimistic, and pretty freakin’ happy with life overall. If she couldn't be a writer, she'd be a singer in a classic rock band. Right after she learned to carry a tune. She has more purses than days in the month, an obsession with colored ink pens, and a slightly unhealthy bracelet habit.
Home is in the Pacific Northwest where she lives with six Siberian Huskies and a husband (BW) who has the patience and tolerance of a saint. And, lest she forget, Denise also lives with too many to count characters inside her head, who will eventually have their stories told.

Quick read that will have you laughing and sighing the entire time you are reading it. Morgan and Riggs meet when she was a wine competition and have a wonderful evening. Little did she know that her fun one-night stand was a judge at the competition. The banter between them was so good. I loved these characters because they felt so relatable in every way to anyone. Sometimes it is hard to believe in yourself but when you find strong women even in a book, you can realize that you can do it and be who you always wanted to be. Loved this story and can’t wait to read what she has coming next.

This was A hilarious Rom-Com Novella with just the right amount of Emotions! The story hooked me from the start, Completed this in 2hrs❤.
ARC Received for a Honest Review.
Morgan is Fun & a little nutty, Riggs is sweet & Sexy AF (Love'em!). Both are in the wine industry, though they didn't know it when they meet..
She Just Had her 1st One Night Stand (which was HOT).. Too Bad Riggs turned out to be a Judge.
When the two found out, it was quite the scene!
After? She got Disqualified. He wanted to apologize & truce (Though it was neither's Fault), But she was angry & didn't listen..
When she finally calmed Down, she went to him..BUT, it was too late. He was gone.
Two Months Later, Been in eachother's thoughts, they meet again in A wine Award Event!
Will this be their Chance at HEA?
We've Got Jealous people and A celebration! *Wink*
P.s. FYI, this book didn't have any steamy scenes, those happened Behind The walls *chuckle*. But We do have some Hot kisses!
P.p.s. The friends were amazing!

I really enjoyed this book. I know that sounds cliché but even with it being a shorter story I felt like we got everything a great story needs. There was angst mixed with a bit of laughter right from the beginning. Then add in Morgan that has her insecurities but she also has dreams and the drive to achieve them. I loved reading the story from her perspective, I could easily read an entire series about her and her winery.

Some “pour” decisions end well!
I absolutely loved the banter between Morgan and Riggs, and I was feverishly turning the pages to find out how this would resolve. I love all of Denise’s books, but I found Morgan especially relatable. It’s nice to follow a main female character who has insecurities and openly talks about them in the prose. What starts off as a woman who doesn’t believe in herself... ends with a woman who realizes she can be a winner. I thoroughly enjoyed this novella, and I look forward to Denise’s next novel!

Absolutely fantastic!! Could not put it down. Literally.... Read the novella in one sitting. Denise has done it again. Filled with sex, humour and a hint of sarcasm this novella has it all.
Morgan wanted to be recognised for her infusion skills with her wine making. One night out with some friends, a one night stand later and she is disqualified from the wine makers competition. Despite this, she couldn't shake the feeling she gets when thinking about Riggs (her one night stand, who was also a judge in the competition she was disqualified from). Eventually their paths cross once more and the chemistry is still there. I personally felt this story was a little heartwarming towards the end.
Fantastic read. 5 stars. Brilliant.

Pour Decisions is a fun story about a woman who has her share of insecurities but is smart, independent. And beautiful. Morgan cannot believe where her career has landed her. But while she is out celebrating before the festivities begin, she does the something completely out of the ordinary. Even though she has the best and only one-night stand of her life, she walks away. Call it fate, circumstance or coincidence but the absolute unthinkable happens.
Riggs is perfect for Morgan. These two lit up my kindle with their chemistry. Loved how easy and fun their story came together. The bonus at the end is such a treat!

This is another terrific addition to the Girl Power Collection. Anyone who loves wine will want to read this story!! I loved the humor and awkwardness of Morgan. It makes her so much more relatable as a character and her fierce determination makes me root even harder for her. While I didn’t get that wow factor between her and Riggs, their romance is sweet and the realization of what the heck happened make me smile. Not to mention the wine making guide!!!

Pour Decisions by Denise Wells was the perfect short story. I totally want more of Riggs and Morgan! I enjoyed how Riggs was always on Morgan's side and helped support her even if Morgan didn't realize it. I loved how real and hilarious Morgan was. The tension between these two was great! Overall, I'm sad this was a short story because I wanted to spend more time in that world with Morgan and Riggs. I loved it so much!

It was interesting but overall just okay.
What I liked:
-I liked the setting of it being at wine conventions/ competition.
-I liked that at the end of the book there were wine terms so I could learn more about the topic.
-The guide at the end of the book was interesting if you wanted to know more.
Spicy: 🌶

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. I enjoyed reading this story about an awkward woman who gets her happily-ever-after with the hot guy. My favorite line: "Well played, fancy hotel, well played."

Cute story, definitely more tame than I'm used to reading. The ending felt rushed to me and I would have loved to read some naughty time between the main love interests. Still, cute rom-commy story, finished in about 2 hrs.

3☆ in a good way
A super short but fun read which if the author wanted then could've extended the drama and added ego to make it full length but didn't, which is a good thing! (because I'm bored with the same repetitive drama you know? *yawns*)
Morgan is a character i can see myself as shy, reserved, socially awkward but still persistent to overshare (aka ramble) which was fun to experience 🤭
And yes, even his name is sexyyyy ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

Don't bother wasting your time! Absolutely no substance! To much detail in FMCs thought process. Would've been a good short story if it had some depth...
