"When you read a book as a child,it becomes a part of your identity in a way that no other reading in your life does..." - from You've Got Mail

as in I only read the part of the Mahabharata on King Sibi. xD
Well, either way, I've got to say that Indian legends/myths truly are fascinating to me and I thought that the huge-self sacrifice of the king was interesting as well as his conversation with the hawk.

The only thing that gave me the shudders and the shivers was the fact that the king had to cut off part of his leg during the self-sacrifice...But hey, Ravana took par

NOTE: tidak pernah bosan membacanya

read it when i was in either grade 4 or 5, fantastic comic, really love it! R.A. Kosasih has facinated me with the way he tells the story and although graphically not as great but to my imagination it's already more than enough. compare to novel version i prefere this all-time great comic. thinking of buying them again for collection.

it's a lot easier to digest and read than the original verse edition, due to the fact that this Indonesian comic rendition of Mahabharata is somewhat abridged. nevertheless, the book stood on its own place and is a classic in Indonesian comic world.

Buku hadiah dari kakak ku, aku baca berulang-ulang sampai lusuh. This is the first epic story yang ku dapat.

Bahkan saya dulu sering gambar cerita Cinderella tapi tokoh-tokohnya pake baju ala wayang begini. Hahahahaha...

R.A. Kosasih published comics base on Javanese Epics. Ok, Indian Epics assimilated in Java.

He created "Sri Asih" Indonesian version of Wonder Woman. Very creative yet humble writer. Prominent figure in keeping the epics alive.

Krishna Dvaipāyana Vyāsa, also known as Vyāsa or Veda-Vyāsa (वेदवयास, the one who classified the Vedas into four parts) is a central and revered figure in most Hindu traditions. He is traditonally regarded as the author of the Mahābhārata, although it is also widely held that he only composed the core of the epic, the Bhārata.
