The King's Wish is a cute little story written by L. K. Reyes to help children know that happiness comes from inside of themselves. This is the first book from B-Happy Kids Products for children to learn the power of positive thinking.
In this story, the Kingdom of Nambi suffers a great storm that left the Kingdom in great darkness. Sadness and depression covers the land and King Lightheart know he must do something. He calls in his friend and advisor, Happy, the Yala Sahalee from the Clan of the

The King's Wish, (B-Happy Kids Series Book One) by author Lara Reyes is a 24 page children's paperback book. The colorful green cover shows a king in his regalia and a standing bear wear a vest and ascot. The illustrations in this fanciful book are lovely and children will be drawn to it. It is well written with a very good message.

This is the tale of the Kingdom of Nambi that has lost its happiness. The King calls his sage advisors for suggestions. The main idea of happiness is one any child ca

I enjoyed reading this beautiful story with such a positive way to look at things. I also read it to my autistic child that is working on learning empathy and this worked right in with one of his social skills building.
In the Kingdom of Nambi had always been a place of joy and happiness where all of Kingdom of Nambi worked together. Then things change when all is destroyed. There was so much unhappiness until King Lightheart visits a special friend and is reminded of what makes happiness and joy

What a delightful story. Written for children but has a message we can all benefit from. The story takes place in the imaginary Kingdom of Nambi where everyone including the animals live together in peace, joy and harmony. One day their joy and happiness was destroyed leaving everyone sad and hopeless. The answer to solving their problem is to think happy thoughts, be positive and have faith.
A very enjoyable story.
The illustrations are very colorful, detailed and cute.
I will be saving this boo

Please see the description above for an in depth synopsis of this children's book. I can't add to what is already disclosed in the description.

I found the story to be well written for early elementary children. It is a bit too in depth for younger children. I enjoyed reading the story and found the illustrations to be very colorful and detailed.

The King’s Wish by L.K. Reyes is a whimsical children’s fairy tale that is written in a way that young children can understand. The story is about a king who both he and his kingdom have suffered some severe losses. When the king was happy, so was his kingdom, so now that the king was sad, so was his kingdom. This is a motivational tale that teaches children not to dwell on what was lost, but remember the blessings you still have. The artwork looks to be hand drawn and is very bright, lively, an ...more

I enjoyed reading this book by L.K. (Lara) Reyes and I appreciate that she used two likable characters, simple text and colorful illustrations by Hannah Van de Water to help children realize that they can influence their own happiness by practicing positive thinking. Today's culture has become one where bullying is increasing, peer pressure is ever present and poor self- image affects many young people. King Lightheart and his friend Happy the Bear share their message that positive thinking and ...more

The King's Wish, by L.K. Reyes, is a beautifully illustrated story about a kingdom who had lost its happiness. That is, until the King calls on his adviser for some words of wisdom.

The story tells about happiness from a couple of different views. First, our own happiness can be found by the thoughts we are thinking and the actions we take can affect others.

The illustrations were a good reflection of the story on each page and I can see myself reading this book to my granddaughter when I see her

The King's Wish is a beautifully written and illustrated book for young people by L.K. Reyes. It encourages young children to not lose hope and to always show the shine in their hearts. Not everyone's life is perfect but we need to learn from Nambi that even when bad (evil) tries to win we must think positive. As stated in the book we are individuals and can show others how love can conquer all. This book is a true testament to encouragement.

A storm destroys a lot of the land. Everyone is sad, the King tries to figure out how to cheer everyone up. He talk to "Happy the bear". He reminds him about the Golden Rule of Nambi. To think happy thoughts and things he loves. A very good children book and a great lesson to learn for young and old. Something I need to remember myself.
