This is a substantial introduction to the literary traditions of the Hebrew Scriptures. I had studied such in college at an introductory level, managing to read the whole of the Hebrew Scriptures in the Jerusalem Bible's representation of them and some of them in the Masoretic version. Now, in seminary, and originally under the exacting direction of George Landes, I got into more of the detail, particularly as regards questions concerning textual sources and transmission.
