Perfect size for little hands and just the right amount of words. I like the diversity in the Babies book (although there could have been more) and the unique descriptors. I also like that the primary colors are black and white with other colors too.
This is sloppy work. The circular frames on every page take up far too much space. There is additional colour, but don't think this is a bad thing, it's just the tile should actually be 'Baby's Very First Black and White (with a bit of colour) Library'. Including a snowflake in 'outside' is rather optimistic as you really have to look so closely to see a snowflake- can you really expect a baby to see one of these? I have additional issues with two of the four books; The 'faces' book - Hair and hat are not part of your face. Glasses are debatable. The 'babies' book - the expressions of all the babies are the same. I think the 'happy' baby a bit odd.. aren't they all happy?- all the others are doing things. Being happy isn't an activity. Also is a baby actually hungry if it is holding a half eaten biscuit....I like the animals one.
