At Animal Ark, Mandy Hope helps her parents treat animals. Even outside the clinic, Mandy can't resist helping any animal in need. Mandy is thrilled to be staying at James's cousin Nadia's house for a week, and to hear that Nadia has a gorgeous lop-eared rabbit named Pixie.
Pixie has entered a competition for the chance to be the model for a chocolate Easter bunny! But when Pixie suddenly falls ill, Mandy must use her veterinary experience to determine what's wrong with him. Can Mandy cure Pixie's mystery illness in time for the competition?
Ben M. Baglio created the brief for two series of children's books - Dolphin Diaries and Animal Ark. Dolphin Diaries features a girl and her family from Florida, who travel around the world as marine biologists and study dolphins. Animal Ark features two children who work together to help animals and solve animal-related mysteries. The books were written by commissioned writers in the UK under Baglio's instruction using the pseudonym Lucy Daniels. Each ghostwriter is named with a 'Special Thanks' on the copyright page.
Using his real name he also wrote the book series The Pet Finders Club, featuring a group of three children who search for peoples lost pets.
Tons of bunnies, lots of chocolate, and one big competition. Join Mandie and James in the fun! Such an adorable bunny story. It's great to read right around Easter.
I think this book is sad and exciting in some parts because in one of the parts Mandy thought that Pixie has been ill and might not be able to compete. I think this is a great book because it is also funny in one of the parts Angelica didn't eat the chocolate that was given to her and she accidentally threw it on her chair and sat on it. When she stood up Nadia noticed and started laughing it was so funny. Also in the story I kind of felt sad that Angelia didn't win and happy at the same time because she doesn't deserve to win anyway. I felt really excited that Nadia won even though her rabbit was sick she still was able to win it because the judges was looking for a happy, curious, and friendly rabbit.
I think this book should be recommend to people who likes animals.
Mandy is going to James aunt's house for a while. James has a cousin named Nadia, who has a beautiful Holland Lop Rabbit named Pixie! And best of all, Pixie has entered to be the Easter bunny for Merry's chocolate's! Suddenly, Pixie falls ill with some strange illness. Can Mandy figure out what's wrong in time for the contest?
It was a okay book, but nothing exciting really exciting happens and I thought it was convenient how on the show, Pixie does the cute act and Princess Powderpuff bites the judge....
