Pretty convoluted story, but fun to try to figure out. Steve and Co. are absorbing characters.

just started it this morning. a woman claimed to have been hired for a rich old man to type for him in the nude while he watched thru a one way mirror. his assistant assaulted her so she left and went straight to the lawyer

he arranged to get her purse and clothes back plus a nice sum of money that he took a part of.

after she left the grandson of the old man wanted to contact her so the lawyer tried to get a hold of her to tell her and found out her phone and address were bogus.

the grandson was found shot dead and she was arrested for it.

it was good-i stayed up last night to finish it.

he got her off and got her brother out of prison. phil danby did it!

Obvious who did it and why, but not how this person would be caught. A fun quick read nonetheless.
