I'm kind of surprised by the low ratings, mostly because this didn't seem significantly worse than the other Rugrats book I read. I honestly haven't watched the show since I was a kid, but I love celebrating love and Chuckie especially was so cute.

I'm throwing it away. It's been sitting on my classroom shelf for YEARS so I thought I'd read it once. The second sentence says, "How come we're eating cookies that look like our butts?"

I realize it's an adaptation from a teleplay, but poor Molly Wigand...having her name attached to this garbage. Not a fan.

By the way, I've never seen a student read it. I'm sure it came in some big box of books sent by Scholastic. There's a difference between actual picture books and "adaptations."
