This is a very personal autobiography about one woman's journey of faih, resilience, determination and love. It is a book about grief, and how grief can sometimes bring about the realization of a persons true purpose and calling in life...it is about how the healing of one broken heart can bring healing to many others. Seldom do we have the opportunity to read about a "heroine," a woman who has devoted her life to rescuing and changing the lives of abused and abandoned children of Mexico. The book confronts the reality of life, adversity and victories...and is evidence that absolute commitment can make "Big" things happen.
I am honored to have been given this book and to learn about this incredible woman and organization. While I cannot fully relate to the author's unwavering faith, I can admire it, appreciate her strength and dedication to her cause, and empathize with her struggles. Thankful for those who commit their lives to making the world a better place.
