A woman wakes in a hospital, her leg in a cast and with no memory of who she is. All she knows is that there's something important she must do, but she has forgotten what it is. She is identified as Katy Cavanaugh by a Mrs. Lennox, the woman who was her parents' housekeeper before their deaths. Katy returns to their home in Northern California, where she meets Jace Foster, the manager of a nearby Christian school for boys. Katy finds herself falling in love with Jace, until another man shows up, claiming to be her fiancee, and confusing her more than ever. It isn't until an attempt is made on her life that she realizes she is not Katy Cavanaugh-but the truth may have come too late.
This was an okay story. A woman loses her memory and is taken to be a famous model, named Kat Cavenaugh. She falls in love with a man named Jace Foster who runs a Christian school ranch for troubled boys. In the end, we discover that she really isn't Kat Cavenaugh, but a woman named Sara who has been running away from a difficult past, including the death of her young sister. The ending was a bit of a surprise, with the betraying actions of one character, the housekeeper, Mrs. L. I did end up becoming a little frustrated with Jace's character whenever he brought up God, and how God is always with Kat/Sara, and that He was working in her, etc. It seemed a bit pushy to me. But, I was happy that she came back to the Lord and married Jace.
