"A Day with the Mail Carriers" by Jodie Shepherd is a Rookie read-About Community book that is geared towards early readers. The book has full page color pictures that describe what is being said in the book. The book describes what happens to a letter after you write it and place it in the mailbox. There is also an index and website to use at the end of the book. This is a fact filled book about what a mail carrier does and how he is an important part of our community.
