Kind of lame and not inspiring. For a low-level book, there are quite a few unexplained terms, such as research and catalog. The kids in the pictures could not look more bored. It might have been more fun to meet a real librarian and go through the day with him or her. (Sorry to be such a crab.)

Nonfiction for early readers. Librarian do lots of things, from helping people study or find a good book, to order materials and leading story time. Good for a community or job related social studies unit. Some of the pictures/tasks were a little dated but ok overall.
