I was looking for a book to support prior knowledge for a unit that contains Out of the Dust and Bud, Not Buddy. This one is a perfect fit. It contains brief but succinct sections on all the major events of the 1930s. I would have appreciated some color pictures.

Recommended for grades 3-6.

This book tells you almost everything that happened in 1930's. This book made me sad because it was telling what people did to other people in world war 2. It was also intresting because it showed what music they listened to what they watched what they did and events they did and more. The way they were describing words was amazing. It was like I was in the book.

I would give this a good, solid 3 stars. It's a good introduction into the 1930's and gives you just enough material to peak your interest and research further into topics.
