Official Description: Scott is a self-proclaimed, self-accepted, obsessive-compulsive geek—and he’s okay with that. At least until a one night stand with a gorgeous man who couldn’t be any further from geekness if he tried, somehow turns into a regular thing.

Devon is rugged, masculine, long-haired and tattooed—a man's man. Scott falls hard and fast for him, and to his comp

I’m not going to upset myself even more by wasting my time to write a review.

This was one of the rare cases in which I didn’t want this couple to get their HEA. Scott was an extremely irritating and unlikeable character, and Devon, though he was sweet, made some mistakes too.

This is a sweet, sexy, and refreshingly complex little look at an opposites-attract romance.

Our MC, Scott, is fairly neurotic, dealing with a lot of anxieties and insecurities that have him believing that this amazing thing he has going on with the gorgeous, tattooed, and laid-back Devon could never last. What started out as a one-night-stand turned into this ongoing, undefined thing, with Devon showing up at Scott's house every weekend for four happy and satisfied months. But Scott kn

I loved this short story...thought I'd read it before, but forgotten about it...and I had!!

Devon Ducaine rock star and all-round Mr Yummy and Scott Weston, accountant geek and OCD compulsion freak extraordinaire!! Talk about opposites attract, and what a lovely heartwarming story this was!!

Not going into details, but I got my HEA, woohoo!!

This m/m shortie is by turns adorable and heart-wrenching. Beautiful, powerful prose, Klein! I found even the "erotic" elements more sweet and controlled than sexy, which says a lot! I will say that it's a wee bit predictable BUT I'm okay with that.

I don't know about you.... but me, I'm fucking awkward. I say the wrong thing, ALL THE TIME! I can be neurotic. I stumble, I fumble and I screw up. I let my insecurities rule me. I am a geek, someone who feels more comfortable discussing books than f

Lazy Sundays is a very entertaining short read. It drops us right into the middle of an ongoing affair between Scott and Devon. While Devon is very self-confident and easy-going, Scott is trying to handle his life with OCD. He needs to keep lists, gets uneasy when he is ripped out of his routine and fights anxiety attacks. However, the moment Devon stepped into his life - totally unexpected and due to his low self-esteem Scott still can`t believe that he turned out to be more than a one-night st ...more

This was such a cute story. I started reading it and I was hooked, but then when we got to the sweetness, I just melted completely. Scott and Devon were just adorable together. Add the little bit of angst to that and you can be sure I loved it. The best part was discovering that Devon really did like Scott, even with some of the quirks he had. So glad I read this one.

3,5 Stars - because they are so cute ...

A nice short Novella about two very mismatched men, Scott and Devon, who meet and slowly open up to each other.

This little "shortie" give you some not unusual anxiety related to self-esteem and bad experiences, a lot of tenderness, nicely described heat & steam and a cute Happily Ever After ending. Kind of lovely overall. In addition, I liked the wonderful book title, the nice cover and the idea for the story.

I think it started off really well, droppe

So I really really really want to give this 4 stars, but i can't quite do it. The first half I loved, getting to know dorky Scott and sexy Dev. But Dev started to annoy me and I started getting a little defensive of Scott. I mean "what can I do to make you feel comfortable?" to an insecure guy on the first night you've ever left the house with him after weeks? Oh, I dunno, maybe actually saying that this is more than

Docking the stars for that flashback (with long italic fonts that leads to same old-same old sex scene -- cue me feeling BORED) in the beginning, this story is pretty good!

I like the opposite attract theme: Scott is adorable with his OCD (though man, he can be viscious when he's angry! watch out for pissed-off accountant!) and Devon with his white picket-fence dream which is surprising when you count his appearance. The fights are emotionally real (considering Scott's insecurity) and t

Well I wasn't expecting that! What a little gem this was.

This is the story of Scott and Devon. Polar opposites in every way.
Scott is a self confessed geek. He is obsessive compulsive, lacks in confidence and proclaims himself as nothing more than a dull, normal accountant.
It was so sad to see him constantly put himself down and feel unworthy of the attraction he receives fro

I loved it, very nice indeed.
Scott low self esteem was a little bit annoying, but I know people in real life are like that, so I forgive him.
Devon was the most gorgeous, lovely, stunning character.
I wish I could meet a guy like him ...wait!! I'm married, maybe in my other life perhaps.

Such a sweet opposites attract story.
I love Scott and his OCD and panic attacks and all!
Devon is such a sweetie, and I guess I know why he was reluctant to share his 'secret' with Scott and I guess it was normal for Scott to let his insecurities get the better of him.
I would love to read more about these two!

Who doesn’t enjoy a lazy Sunday, this story is just perfect for one. Klein did a great job in pacing this story to keep your interest and the drama wasn’t too over the top.
I did find that Scott was a bit much with his insecurities at times, and I would have liked to have more face time with his family and why he was the way he was.
The drama that was, was well played and logical (see what I did there). I liked how even though both men were on different ends of a spectrum they both has insecurit

3.5 stars Cute short story. Not necessarily my favorite writing style, but I did like the characters Scott and Dev. I think its pretty easy to relate to Scott even if you don't have OCD and anxiety attacks, everyone has had insecurities at some point and ...well...they make us stupid sometimes.
I liked Dev, but I really wish we could have gotten some things from his perspective or something. Even though Scott had a legitimate reason for being upset and all, I was kinda like..."uh...try to see it

Awe - Cute story! I love stories that are meaningful and get you thinking :)

Life isn't about your looks, or how others see you on the outside. it's the inside that counts.

When looking at Scott, you see a typical Accountant - geeky guy, great with numbers, OCD, and low self esteem.
But you don't see the sweetness that's inside. How caring he is and how wonderful he is. And HOT! Geeky is HOT :)

Then there is Devon - Typical Rock star type. Thick build, Tight clothes, tattoos, piercings - the fir

I quite like the story but I am not sure I like Scott very much.

I guess Scott behaviors stemmed from his rather low self-esteem. But I mostly do not understand his thought process and (view spoiler)

I find Scott outraged tirade (view spoiler)

The writing was good, but the ending didn't leave me believing the two MCs would last as a couple. I wasn't convinced of it.

The relationship between the two men seems too unbalanced, like Devon has to do all the work while Scott puts in minimal effort and what effort he does put in is more about himself and his own issues (which he doesn't seem to try much to prevent from hurting the relationship) than about making the relationship work. Even at the end, it's Devon who does all the groveling

I really like this author's writing. She writes stories with enough tension to be entertaining, but it never really tips over into over the top. This was very sexy, sweet, and even romantic. Half a star off though because there were numerous times the writing stopped flowing due to missing words that should have been there, the addition of words that should have been deleted, a misspelled word, and an incident where the MC's left hand was above his head and then its mentioned that his left ha

AAWWWW this book is so sweet :)

I didn't expect to love this very much, I saw it first from Aimie's review So thanks Aimie for giving such a good review for this gem ;)

This is a happy book. There's minimum to no angst, has a HEA, the characters were great and the writing is engaging with some funny moments. I think I smiled a lot while reading it.

It's free, I would recommend this to everyone :) The sequel after this is Lazy Valentines and I heard the author will make it into a series or a full bo

“I meant it,” Devon said softly. “I know your brain is
logicalizing it, or whatever you wanna call it. But logical or not, I
love you.”

“Besides running around the world making
people’s ears bleed, what do you have to offer me?”
“Lazy Sundays on the porch.”

that's all what I'm gonna say...

Lazy Sundays is definitely worth reading :)

A wonderful short story that captured my heart from the start.

Scott is just the type of guy I love reading. He has so many insecurities but is still strong.

Dev is almost the opposite. He is big and tough, tattoos and piercings, but under the tough guy image he is just as insecure as Scott.

Together these two make a perfect couple for me to read about.

K-lee Klein’s Lazy Sundays is a novella that surprised the hell out of me. The title seems so sweet and romantic but the story is anything but. It left me gasping more than a few times and I was tempted to wring the necks of Scott and Devon. Recommended! :)

This novella could be better if Scott wasn't such a drama queen. His insecurities annoyed me - poor Devon bent over backwards to constantly assure Scott.. But I agree with Scott - I honestly can't see what Devon saw in him. I wanted him to dump Scott's hysterical ass and find himself another guy.

The ending wasn't satisfying, either. Yes, Devon lied - and apologized..I also wanted Scott to apologize to Devon, too. He said some really harsh words..Devon's lie doesn't absolve him of his own guilt

When he first thinks of mom says she doesn't accept hes gay and wants a daughter and grand kids. Then later he takes his sisters kid to a concert. Guess the mom forgot she already had a daughter and grand kid ?

I mostly liked it. Got bored with the crazy long flashback and flashback sex.

I didn't like how long the misunderstanding dragged out and it was really wordy. The mc had long drawn out, and often times pointless thought.

It's a free story but IMO would have been a lot better with some tigh

I couldn’t put it down. It's full of emotion, well written & very character driven. Of course, Devon was amazing, but I simply fell in love with Scott. I was able to relate to his character due to his OCD & the way he learned to live with it. Brava to the author!

K-lee Klein loves guys with long hair and tattoos, and you’ll often find her front and center at her favorite rock concerts. She has bounced around Western Canada all her life, but will always consider the solitude and beauty of the British Columbian mountains home.
