First book by Marta Perry but won't be my last. Look forward to reading the rest of the series and more books by her.

4th book in Faith at the Crossroads series.
Kenneth Vance is in the Air Force, or he was until he was shot down. He is home recovering now and hoping to get back in the air.
Julianna Red Feather had been in love with Kenneth as a young teen. Now they are both working at Quinn Montgomery's construction company.
Julianna and her German Shepherd, Angel, are also part of a FEMA rescue team. Only a year ago the rescue did not work out and Julie has not been able to return to it. Except to help rescue Michael Vance and Layla Dixon a month ago when they were trapped in a cave after an intentional explosion. Michael is Kenneth's older brother as well.
Julianna is Native American and carries prejudices from her earlier years. Always thinking people think of her as an outsider.

Li Susp--decent addition to the series, but the series is not progressing fast enough to keep me interested.
