The book touches nearly every topic in clinical research, with major stress on research ethics and regulations. However, the US-centered background of the book makes it more complicated. Thus, for international readers, they may find it annoying. The videos that accompanies the book (you can find them on Youtube NIHvidecast channel) makes it more thorough. For my fellow medical students, I would NOT recommend reading the book; but, I recommend watching the videos only.
There are many other to-the-point books that cover this field.
