Kelly O'Connell has real life problems just like any other working single mom. She tries to balance work, relationships, and home life, but she has the added problem of being an amateur sleuth. When her friend shoots her husband and another neighborhood woman falls (or was pushed) down the stairs on the same night, Kelly finds herself embroiled in another mystery.

The story is quick paced, the characters are full and realistic, and through it all is a quirky and fun sense of adventure. If you li

I LOVE new home of Kelly and girls :) Although I would love more descriptions because, as I mentioned in some of my reviews - I'm crazy about finding out the details about particular styles.
That quirks of mine left behind - the story. I did like it and it was actually a nice page-turner. This is the second offering of this series that I have read - OK - I'm compulsive, I like to read them in order. The novel opens with Clair Guthrie knocking at Kelly's door. "No Neighborhood" is a cozy mystery that take places in Fort Worth, Texas. I have never lived in Fort Worth, but I have visited friends there many times. It was great fun to read about neighborhoods, restaurants and hotels that I know well.

Ms Alter actually lives in Fort Worth. I am eagerly looking forward the nest book in this new series.

A rather simple book about people and a mystery. A pleasant read and Interesting but not very meaningful or enriching.

Cute enough mystery.

The detailing of every bit of food became very tedious very quickly. Local businesses were slipped in clumsily and often. Okay but not one I'd offer up as a suggested read.
