No, he’s not my boyfriend, or even just a friend.

In fact, we’ve never spoken a word to one another.

Stone and his band mates rule the ‘Alice Gardens’ house and dominate most of the other university students as well. People respect them, fear them, adore them.

And Stone is their king.

Their huge, silent, intimidating king. He frightens me.

Whenever I’m near him, my entire

This book is killing me (smashing my head with my reader, crying silently in pain)!

I was constantly torn between two and five stars so my brain literally hurts right now.
There was soooo good parts but then there was that annoying little...

Lets start from the beginning, shall we?
This his book made me want to slap both character with my Kindle. Oh the horror!!!!

First and most annoying thing in this book was heroine...

If a guy wrote that sort of a song for me and sung it in front of a hundred people , I'd handcuff him to me FOREVER ! Yup , you aren't going anywhere my honeybuns !

Oh lord almighty , this book is HAWT !!!! Evelyn Vine is a shy , down to earth girl who just wants to get lost in the crowd . She doesnt like attention and isn't desperate f
I'm actually very fascinated with CM style of writing in where she brings about this mystique of having to narrate more actions than words which she succeeds to build this tangible tension that leaves wanting more. Her technique propels Stone's character to have this very distinct air of mystery that leaves you guessing. It's an incredible read.

I loved love loved this book!
The author had some problems with people stealing her stuff so she basically took the book offline to buy, but it's on her website for free if you become a member. Best thing I've done in a long time!
Holy sweet baby Jesus, this book just did it for me! I want to start it again!

Evie gets to college (uni) in a cab all by herself and we get a first glimpse of how big her family is, but how she still feels out of place and alone despite how ma

Well this was an interesting read. It's about teenagers at college. But it is an adult read IMO, as there are explicit sex scenes. Even some mild BDSM. Evie arrives for her first day at college, with no one to help her with her luggage. As none of her multitude of brothers and sisters had offered to go with her either as help, or moral support. So Evie is struggling with her luggage when a guy approaches and just picks up her cases and takes them to her room, without uttering a word.

This book is horrible. Stone is quite possibly my least favorite character after Evelyn. He's supposed to come off as silent, brooding, and powerful but instead he just comes off as a mute. It's unrealistic. You can't properly build a relationship when you don't communicate with each other and the whole "conversations with their eyes" thing was complete bullshit. Also it's impossible for Evelyn to go from an A cup to a C cup in just a couple of weeks... Seriously. It doesn't matter how many weig ...more

Oh wow. This book was almost really good. When I first started reading it I was expecting a cross between "Thoughtless" and "Beautiful Disaster" and it kind of was like that just nowhere near as good as those two. I enjoyed the connection between Stone and Evie but the book moved kind of slowly for me and the author waaaaay overdid the strong, silent type thing with Stone-that's what stopped the book from becoming one of my favourites. The fact that a hundred pages into the book he had spoken a ...more

Update- I finished it and really ended up enjoying it.

Ok so I’m like at the half way mark and the hero has said like 4 words. It’s a little unbelievable they can have a relationship of any kind without talking. Don’t even get me started on how she can interpret what he wants by looking in his eyes. I really would like to know what happens but it took forever to get this far and I’m worried the hero isn’t going to talk much more as the books goes on, which is really aggravating. I may come back
You know, this book really surprised me.
Not that I wasn’t expecting it wouldn’t be good, but I wasn’t expecting that it would be so freakin hilarious. I laughed out loud at so many parts. So fun.
I don’t think this book is well known. Apparently it used to be a fanfic. But this one was highly recommended in Maryse’s facebook page. And when it was said Stone was right there in the top with Fifty (50 Shades of Grey), Kellan (Thoughtless), Travis (Beautiful Disaster) and Gideon (Bared to You) I was

Please say you’ll be…

I was surprised by this book. I had no idea of what to think when I read it the first time (because of Stone) so I read it again.

Meet Evie…

She is a shy girl who comes from a big family (9 brothers and 2 sisters). She likes to be left alone and be on the sidelines, where she doesn’t attract attention to herself.
But what she doesn’t know is that she attracted attention since she put foot on campus. Literally.

Meet Grant Stone…

Was looking for a book where there was a taciturn hero. And boy was this guy ever taciturn. He hardly spoke a word throughout the book. You knew basically nothing about him but he was so cool he ruled the whole university. I'll buy that, but he had so many conversations involving just his eyebrows that it was pretty ridiculous in places. Still I enjoyed him for the most part. There were lots of strong elements to the story. I loved how she had so many brothers that everyone kept assuming at leas ...more

3.5 stars for this book. I ended up really liking it in the second half. It started slow and a bit tedious with the whole non-verbal communication thing, but after I became invested in Grant (Stone) and Evie's relationship I needed to know what developed and how their friends and family played into the story. Loved the song at the end **melted heart**

based on the reviews I wasn't expected to be blown away, so it wasn't all that bad. This book was no pressure, I wan't rushing to finish it, but it was a good "in the meantime" book, while I wait for other books I want to be released, it sort of cleared my palate. at 78% The main characters actually had a semi conversation.

it's free so I'd give it a go if you're bored and waiting for your other books to be released.

If anyone knows where I can buy a copy of this please let me know.

Absolutely loved this!! It was sooo hard to find a copy to read but I did eventually find a PDF and feel so lucky I got to read the whole thing. I really hope the author gets this published soon because she deserves to get payed for her amazing work. Definitely would love a copy for my bookshelf!

Also would love a book from Stones POV. ;)

It was so nice to read a book set in Australia and written by an Aussie too.

I loved this book it was such a nice sweet story. I loved Stone and his way of talking with his eyes but I had few problems with Evie I liked her but sometimes I wanted to yell at her and tell her to get a efing back bone she let others rule her took much! I loved their group of friends wish they were my friends :) and Evies brother all I can say is wow such a big family lolz I felt bad for Stone at the end when he finally met them hehehehe that scene was hilarious and the presents she got while ...more

Oh, this book had such potential. The plot had such promise. However, I just couldn't bring myself to finish it. The writing was so...BLAND; the characters even more so. The hero was supposed to be all silent and broody which I love but there's a fine line between being that way and coming across as a mute person! Literally, for the initial 100 pages or so, I thought he was MUTE and that would end up being the big reveal but I skimmed through the portion I had read again and realized

Love at first sight. It reminds me of this song…

”One look
and I'm mesmerized by your eyes
You're comin' like a hurricane
Blowing down on me

Cause it's your mystery that captures me
I'm falling in, drawing closer…”

Evelyn Vine Be Mine is a long read for me because it took me two to three days just to finish this book but it's totally worth reading! :)

And seriously, are they really seventeen and nineteen? Hahaha. Overall I loved it! :)

The best damn book ever! In between the story there were parts where i used to burst out laughing and if someone would be sitting in my room would look at me as if i had gone completely crazy! And then the song at the end..........No Fucking WORD ARE THERE TO DESCRIBE HOW I FELT. <3 I think that because of this book Chelle Mitchiter will be my new fav author!

Oh it was just terribly cute and sweet. Stone is the silent, big, burly kind of guy who's actually a huge softie deep inside and Evelyn is the shy, cute girl who blushes for everything. I rest my case.

This book enchanted me!
I can not believe that a story like that hooked me from the beginning. There is scarcely any communication between them, but those little gestures are what shapes everyone. Love that there were extra couples and lios among them. Friends and no doubt Evie's family. Fangirlee and pray to read stories about them because they are all great. I definitely love it. I do not usually put five stars, but he has won his place cheerfully. A long story, but one that reads fast because

definitely needs to be edited down, plot kinda rambles and repeats itself, massive slut shaming, Stone & Evie communicate whole sentences with their eyes but are practically mute with each other the rest of the time, made it hard to invest in their relationship when all they seemed to have going for them was sex, the characters definitely acted 17, 18, & 19 years old ...more
it was a cute story but they needed to talk more and a lot of the problems wouldn't have happened. i love the other people in the book i think they made the story. Chelle Mitchiter is a new author to me but i will be reading more of her work.

one of the the hardest books i’ve had to find namely because it’s unpublished (or so i’ve read).
easy read, pretty lengthy in retrospect. characters weren’t as developed but the story line worked with the writing style and i liked it enough to read it fairly quickly!

A very bad book, bad, bad, terrible and what follows.
boring to die, the protagonist without character, easy to manipulate, and he, without words, literal.
I despaired so much that I take it for granted despite not finishing it.
