I thought this would be a humorous book, but I only laughed at one sentence (and I can't even remember now what it was). Even after growing up Lutheran and graduating from a Catholic college, I didn't understand a lot of the references, and the parts I did understand were not all that interesting. I think this book will only be understood and appreciated by a small subset of people of a certain age, culture, and geographic location.
My recommendation: Don't read this, and find one of those "You know you're a Lutheran when..." humorous lists instead.
