"Sanctum Warriors: Shadow Havens Book 2" by Edenmary Black was some
supernatural read from this authors' series 'Shadow Havens' that I truly enjoyed. I thought I would have trouble keeping up with it...but I didn't. You will really have many twist and turns but when you have finished with this novel you will note it was a good read from start to finish. We find Arabella D'Court who is a hu

Arabella D'Court is a human in a supernatural world. She is a Basium Cruenta for Sanctum Haven and she's also in love with a vampire named Mich Odera. Micah takes Arabella to the mating of Keircnan Grey and Iridea Galaurus which really pleases Arabella. Arabella has been in love with Odera as she calls him for a very long time. She would love it if Odera showed her that he loves her in return. Ilea Galaurus is keeping her mate Sebastien chained up in room for Demense protection. Ilea only knows ...more

“A Captivating Return”

It is always a pleasure to pick up the next book in a series and feel like you are again connecting with old friends. The author, Edenmary Black, never lets me down in that capacity. I truly love how all the characters, human or not, struggle with their emotions in concern to one another, all the while trying to stay true to their natural being. The emotions are so strong that you can’t help but to be drawn into the life of every character, the good and the bad.

“Sanctum Warriors,” Book 2 in Edenmary Black’s “Shadow Havens” series, has been eagerly awaited by readers who devoured the first novel in the series, “Sanctum Angels,” a fast-paced paranormal romantic urban fantasy (yes, all of that ). Like its predecessor, the new “Sanctum Warriors” is just the ticket for readers who like their paranormal fantasy highly-populated, with many different “species” included, action-packed, intriguing, and the romance subtly erotic (sensual but never overdone).

"Emotionally Charged"
I loved book 1 in this series and was anxiously awaiting the second book. I was not disappointed! With hot love scenes and intriguing plots Sanctum Warriors is a must read for Paranormal lovers.

We are back in Pennsylvania in the world of the Sanctum and the Demense and as in the first book, there is a lot going on. Ilea is trying to get a grasp on the Demense after being rudely awakened to the way her Mate has run the Demense. To say she lived a life with blinders on is an understatement, but now her eyes are wide open and she is determined to make things peaceful. Her daughter and new son-in-law are still celebrating being newly mated, her dead son is trying to speak to her from the g ...more

Book 1 was good but not great. Book 2 on the other hand was chock full of action, suspense, and new and deepening romance.

I'm looking forward to the next installments in the series.

Edenmary Black has been writing since she could clutch a pencil. She has always been fascinated with the mysteries of the paranormal and loves the question all writers answer when they pen fiction. For her, it's all about that magical, "What if?” When not working her keyboard, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family, all of whom are male. She spends far too much on lingerie and is ver ...more
