Sydney Jamieson's love for two men makes her avoid returning home whenever possible, but when her father needs help, she has little choice. Her feelings haven't lessened, not even after painfully leaving one at the altar. Facing them, along with her fears, is easier than she anticipated, especially when both men make it clear they still want her--and they like to share. It's easy to slip into a secret relationship with Pax and Caleb and hide her concerns, getting carried away on their hot brand of seduction. But secrets don't stay hidden and she has to admit the truth to her dad, tell him the reason she left, and find the courage to face the world with it.
M. A. Stacie is never without a book or her eReader. A voracious reader, with a love of sexy, yet angst ridden novels, she loves getting lost in new worlds. Her need to write did not grip her until after her second son was born, when her previous rambles became fully fledged stories.
She describes herself as one huge contradiction, and though not the most conventional of hobbies, she counts getting new tattoos as one of hers. Along with running, knitting, and listening to loud music. However, she is yet to work out how to do them all at the same time.
M. A. Stacie lives in the UK with her husband and three sons.
This might be her best yet. Thoughtful as well as hot it deals with not only the feelings of the protagonists but those close to them, something you don't often find in a menage book.
I was waiting with bated breath for this to be released ....
Wowohwowohwow .... what a read ,,this book is unputdownable .... I began reading at 9.50 am ..and finished at 11.43 am ...I do read fast but hell ..this baby read itself ...
Sydney ..what a fantastic character ...she has a secret fantasy ... Pax ...... admire Sydney from afar.. Caleb ....jilted at the altar by Sydney ..
I honestly want to spill the whole darn plot ..but will refrain ..
This was my first Ménage à trois book ...yes a was a menage virgin ..well believe me if Stacie wants to write more I'll be reading!!!
M.A Stacie has moved away from her usual couples romance and into a slightly more risqué area by adding a third person into the mix! Coming Home is her first ‘ménage’ and hopefully NOT her last. The sex scenes are Steamy with a capital ‘S’ add that to the fact that we have not only one but two cowboys……… well roll me over and tickle my belly!
I do have a little gripe with the plot. I can think of nothing worse than including a parent in a fantasy story like this. It made me cringe and feel uncomfortable when her Dad walked in on her naked with Caleb and then the following day caught her having full on sex out in the open with Pax. Having the discussion with her father about her sexual preferences and him just accepting it was too much for my brain. I’m 45 years old, married and have 5 children but as far as my Dad is concerned I have never seen a man naked let alone had sex and I certainly wouldn’t be discussing my sexual fetishes and preferences with him, it’s just too yuk, eww, awkward….WRONG!
Apart from that little no, no, I thought the rest of the story was spot on. The writing was up to M.A’s usual high standards with an easy flow, natural dialogue and great characters (well, I wish I could erase Jack, but that is just my opinion!!) It is a very quick read, a couple of hours at most but I do advise you read it when your man is at home, you may need him…. *wink*
I admit I don't read a lot of ménage, I think I've read only two other books in this subject. I found them, for lack of a better word, trashy. But with 'Coming Home' there was nothing Trashy about it. It's incredibly well written and I would even stick in the word 'Classy'.
The relationship between Sydney, Pax and Caleb is really quite unique. really do love each other and have done for a very long time. They have a bond that was going to tie them together no matter how far, at the beginning, Sydney tried to run away from.
Loved the book, adored it even, and it's put my faith back in the ménage plots.
This book starts with a fire and the hotness pretty much remains throughout the book. A lovely little story with well-written, believable characters and storyline. Sydney has had secret fantasies about Caleb and Pax for years but ran away when she realised that she couldn't have both. Caleb is the man she broke off an engagement to and Pax is the one who was always a 'friend'. How they get together and the finding out amongst the three of them about how this will work and what it means to them was brilliant. It also gives an idea of what it means to 'come out' as a menage, something not always covered in books.
A short and steamy read definitely worth your time.
Ooookaaaaaayyyyyy! Finished! I am not in general someone who is prone to hyperbole (o.k. so I am really!) But this book....jaw droppingly HOT! My cheeks are actually flaming as I recall the initial menage! Where in the hell does M.A. Stacie get her imagination and inspiration from I'd like to know? In fact - who cares as long as she carries on writing about it?? Good work M.A! keep it up (so to speak!)
Phew...hot...who wouldnt want to be in love with two men and the best thing, is that they are both in love with you and dont mind!!
It was a quick, sweet read about a girl trying to come to terms with her love for 2 men, tried to do the right thing by moving away but was bought back to face her love.
Could have been longer but it was a sweet read and very hot!! make sure you have you're BOB, boyfriend, husband or partner close by ;)
The book was pretty good and kept you reading. There was a TON of graphic images throughout the book and very often, so I would not recommend this book to anyone that is not at a VERY high maturity level. I read it in 2 hours, so it's not a hard read and like I mentioned before it's kind of a page turner. you want to know more of the story and what the father is all about with the love situation so you just keep reading.
This is a very hot and steamy book, with a great story behind it. M.A. Stacie explores the relationships and all the charaters extremely well.. A TRUE MUST READ. I could not book my kindle down until finished the story.
It was a good short read. Only gave it three stars because Sydney was so whiny for so much of the book and refused to explain herself yet was miserable. It's the type of boom that I would have liked an epilogue at the end for as long as it took her to get it together.
Very readable book and overall style. Could maybe do with a little tighter plot and wanted to know more about the two men and their relationship (what was their motivation?). But overall the writing style and plot tension kept me rivetted.
Wowzers! I had a hard time holding onto this book while reading - it was that hot! The unmistakable voice of M.A. Stacie but upped a few degrees on the hot scale. I loved it.
