So nice to see a comic book that read more like a book. I was really tired of reading just plain comics, but my student loves comic books. Generally the vocabulary is way over his level, but this vocab he understood just fine, though I had to do the reading.

My 5 yr old who's learning to read loves this book. Has some big words in it, but repetition is key.

While I'm very excited about The Dark Knight Rises: Batman versus Bane I Can Read! I is also very cool to have the classic dressed in blue cartoon image Batman as well. My experiences with Batman are more movie related, however I've caught a cartoon from time to time. What I do not remember is having villains that are beyond human into creatures like Man-Bat and Batman Classic: Reptile Rampage, but the Enginerd assures me these characters have been here and are from the comics. So I am learning new things and glad to share them with my girls as they learn to read.

This book is a fabulous addition for early readers. The story, as always, portrays Batman as the savior of the day from a frightening Man-Bat that is rampaging the city. Through vivid and colorful illustrations, early readers are able to submerse themselves into an entertaining story that engages and encourages the reader to want to read more.

My daughter read this book and found it to be a delightful read. It was short enough for her to enjoy the read, and long enough to stimulate her desire to keep reading. This is the perfect book to keep in the car, take in the beach bag, or on a visit to the doctor's office.

This story is about batman and his investigation of man-bat. The newspapers got it mixed up and thought man-bat was actually him but batman saved the day by protecting the people of Gotham, including a scientist who knew about hybrid creature people. Batman learned that man-bat was his friend and they worked hard to create an antidote, he chased the creature down and was able to give him the serum to save him and turn him back to his friend. Batman saved the day once again and now, with his friend, once again.
